What is it about?
This course helps students learn basic conversation skills in English with the advice of trained instructors, specialized books and the use of audio tools in a structured way. It is designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced level students who are learning English as a second language.
How does it work?
Students may be evaluated through tests, quizzes, case studies, group discussions, oral presentations, and conversations. The instructor can choose to use any of these methods to assess performance during the course.
Who can register?
You must be 16 years old to take this course.
You must present proof of identity.

For students' convenience La Casa Guadalupana offers a choice
of morning and night class.
Offered Monday through Thursday:
Morning Class 9:00am - 1:00pm
Evening Class 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Facilitates participation by providing childcare while class is in session.
ESL Classes
The aim of this course is to help you understand and use basic English for speaking, listening, reading and writing.
You will:
- Develop a basic vocabulary.
- Learn and use simple idiomatic expressions and words in English.
- Acquire basic pronunciation knowledge.
- Show ability in oral and written expression exercises.
- Understand and use American cultural norms in conversations.
