Occupational Safety and Health
La Casa Guadalupana together with the UAW fulfills the duty of training our students in workplace safety. Occupational Safety and Health is a FREE training program organized by La Casa Guadalupana for all students and is taught by qualified OSHA instructors.
Introduction to OSHA
This is a training component that emphasizes workers' rights. It is required content in every OSHA construction and general industry course.
OSHA 10-hour General Industry Hazard Recognition Training.
Provides workers with information to:
Recognize the benefits of implementing an effective safety and health program and Identify appropriate methods to prevent risks in the workplace.
OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety and Health.
Learn how to recognize, avoid, abate and prevent common safety hazards on construction sites.
Certificate of Attendance and OSHA Card.
This is a voluntary Health and Safety program. However, some employers, unions, states, or other jurisdictions may require OSHA 10 training.
Students who complete our OSHA-authorized program will receive an official OSHA card and Certificate of Attendance.
