This is an assistance and practice program for students preparing to take the General Educational Development GED® exam.
GED® It is a high school equivalency test designed for individuals who did not complete their high school education. The test assesses the same knowledge and skills as those of a high school graduate in the USA. Successfully passing the GED® provides a certificate that offers equivalent opportunities to a high school diploma.
The GED® is a score obtained by passing exams in four subjects (Language Arts, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics). A high school diploma is awarded after successfully completing four years of high school. The GED® is considered equivalent to a high school diploma, as both demonstrate that you possess the knowledge and skills of a high school graduate.
Each state that offers the GED® has different rules. In Michigan, you must be 18 years old to take the test in Michigan.
You do not need to be a U.S. citizen to take the GED® test.
You must present proof of identity.
For students' convenience La Casa Guadalupana offers a choice of morning and night class.
Offered Monday through Thursday:
Morning Class 9:00am - 1:00pm
Evening Class 6:00pm - 8:00pm
